End-of-Life Care Communication Training Workshop for Social Work and Healthcare Students

End-of-Life Care Training for Social Work Students (4th round)

 

Date & Time: May 20, 2026 (Wednesday)  |  9:30am – 5:30pm
Venue: Social Sciences Function Room, 11/F, The Jockey Club Tower, Centennial Campus, The University of Hong Kong
Objective: To equip social work and healthcare students with basic end-of-life care knowledge and skills
Training contents:

– Communication skills with end-of-life patients and caregivers

– Facilitating end-of-life care decision-making communication within the family

– Family communication facilitation skills

– Bereavement

Target participants: Associate, High diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree students in social work, healthcare or related disciplines leading to registered qualifications in Hong Kong
Prerequisite: Participants are required to complete the Basic Module of the JCECC Community Psychosocial End-of-Life Care professional online training course (https://learn-v2.jcecc.hk/portal/) before the confirmation of their registration
