Holistic training programmes will also be conducted to end-of-life care (EoLC) volunteers, in both face-to-face and virtual format. Besides, public education initiatives will be raised to increase the public awareness on end-of-life care, especially on advance care planning and encouraging communications between patients and the family members. A systematic evaluation will be taken place, not only to evaluate the effectiveness of the afore-mentioned education programmes, but also to evaluate the effectiveness of the end-of-life care service model, which developed by the HKU team, and implemented by the project\u2019s NGO partners.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<div id=\"ultimate-heading-15436a11b87c1e2ac\" class=\"uvc-heading ult-adjust-bottom-margin ultimate-heading-15436a11b87c1e2ac uvc-6912 txt fs18\" data-hspacer=\"no_spacer\"  data-halign=\"left\" style=\"text-align:left\"><div class=\"uvc-heading-spacer no_spacer\" style=\"top\"><\/div><div class=\"uvc-main-heading ult-responsive\"  data-ultimate-target='.uvc-heading.ultimate-heading-15436a11b87c1e2ac h3'  data-responsive-json-new='{\"font-size\":\"\",\"line-height\":\"\"}' ><h3 style=\"font-weight:normal;\">Project Objectives<\/h3><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;txt fs18&#8243;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase the capacity of end-of-life care for healthcare and social care professionals<\/li>\n<li>Increase the awareness of end-of-life care for general public<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the effectiveness of the Project\u2019s end-of-life care service models, so as to general evidence-based journal papers for reference in academic field;
