The “Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care” project consists of multi-level interventions, with each element having specific service targets, including medical and social service professionals, residents of residential care homes for the elderly and their families, terminally-ill patients at home and Family members, other community stakeholders related to community peace, volunteer workers and the general public. In order to comprehensively understand the effectiveness and impact of the project at all levels, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Hong Kong adopted a mixed-methods research approach that focused on both quantitative and qualitative research. Conduct program effectiveness review. Through the research results, we can not only understand the effectiveness of the core elements of the plan, but also ensure sustainable development.
