When a loved one died, families will move into the phase of bereavement when they grief, mourne and have to work through the loss of the loved one, and adapt to a variety of life changes. This is during this devastating and lonely period that renders support necessary especially in the early stages. Nonetheless, as bereavement reactions could well differ in every person, targeted intervention following careful assessment is crucial to effectively addressing the diverse needs of the bereaved. We offer workshops that encompass diverse topics incorporating basic theories on grief, systematic bereavement assessment, and different intervention strategies and counseling skills in supporting the bereaved. This aims to enhance competence of end-of-life care workers in providing holistic bereavement care to the affecting families.
